Atelier Stateful

01Privacy

This website introduces Atelier Stateful and its forthcoming products. It has no advertising, visitor analytics script, contact form, or checkout. Cloudflare processes technical request information and provides basic traffic statistics. Fastmail handles email correspondence.

Who is responsible

Atelier Stateful is a sole proprietorship registered in Québec. Its proprietor is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Questions and privacy requests go to hello@atelierstateful.com.

What is stored on your device

The site code sets no cookies and saves no preferences in browser storage. Your language choice applies to the current page. Your browser may cache site files. Cloudflare may use essential security cookies if it presents a security challenge.

What the page loads

Cloudflare serves the styles, scripts, fonts, and images from this domain. The pages contain no embedded videos, maps, social widgets, or externally hosted analytics scripts.

Server records

Cloudflare hosts this website. It processes technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver the pages and protect its network.

We use basic Cloudflare traffic statistics to understand request volumes and service errors. We do not export request logs to a separate archive. Cloudflare retains information according to its service needs and legal obligations. Its privacy policy describes these criteria; it does not specify one retention period for all service data.

Cloudflare and Fastmail process information outside Québec, including in the United States. Laws in those locations may permit access by local authorities. The providers publish their privacy terms and data protection agreements. Fastmail keeps US copies and backups even when its EU region is selected.

If you write to me

There is no form on this site. The only way to make contact is email. When you write to hello@atelierstateful.com I receive your address, your name if you give it, and whatever you put in the message.

I use your message to respond and manage our correspondence. Fastmail stores and delivers these messages. I do not add you to a newsletter. During a monthly review, I delete routine inquiries whose last exchange was at least 12 months earlier. Records subject to a legal retention obligation remain for the required period. Provider backups follow the provider’s own deletion schedule.

How information is used

Technical information supports site delivery, security, and basic traffic statistics. Email information supports replies to your requests. We do not use this information for advertising or sell it. You can contact the Privacy Officer about your information and applicable rights.

Keeping it safe

The public site uses HTTPS. It has no customer accounts, application database, or payment collection. Access to the contact mailbox uses a passkey or a password with two-step verification. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee complete security.

Links that leave this site

This site links to a profile on X. If you follow that link, X receives your request and its privacy policy applies. The site does not embed content from X.

The applications

This policy covers the Atelier Stateful website and its contact mailbox. Arcful and Packful are not yet available to the public. Their privacy policies will be published before the products become available.

Your rights

Applicable law may give you rights to access or correct your personal information, request its deletion, or withdraw consent. Contact the Privacy Officer to make a request. Some records may remain where the law requires their retention.

Write to the Privacy Officer at hello@atelierstateful.com and you will get an answer. That mailbox is monitored, and it is the office responsible for the protection of personal information here.

If that answer does not satisfy you, you can take the matter further. In Québec the regulator is the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec. If you live elsewhere, your own national or regional privacy regulator can also hear a complaint.

Changes to this page

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no archive of earlier versions; the page you are reading is the one in force.

02Terms

Atelier Stateful publishes this informational website. These terms concern its use. Arcful and Packful are forthcoming products; their product terms will be published before release.

Ownership

The text, design, code, images, and logos on this site belong to Atelier Stateful unless stated otherwise. Arcful and Packful are its product names. The X logo belongs to X Corp. and appears only to mark a link to a profile on that service.

What you may do

Read the site, link to it, and quote short passages with attribution. What you may not do is copy the design or the code as a whole, present this material as your own, or use the names and logos in a way that suggests a connection or an endorsement that does not exist.

Buying the applications

Nothing is sold on this website. Arcful and Packful are not yet available for purchase or public use. Payment, licensing, and refund terms will be provided before sales begin.

No warranty

The site is offered as it is. I work to keep it accurate and available, but I do not guarantee that it is free of errors or that it will be reachable at any given moment. Nothing on it is a contractual commitment, a specification, or a promise that a product will have a particular feature or a particular release date.

Limits of liability

So far as the law allows, Atelier Stateful is not liable for any loss or damage that follows from your use of this site, or from anything on it that you rely on. Nothing here removes a liability the law does not permit to be excluded, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Links to other sites

Links to other sites are a convenience, not an endorsement. I do not control them and I am not responsible for what they contain or for what they do with your data.

Changes

These terms may change. The version on this page is always the one in force, and the date at the top shows when it last moved.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute goes before the courts of Québec. That choice does not take away the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live.
